Bosch Young Talent Show

Bosch Young Talent Show (BYTS) is an international art event with promising artists under 30 years. Renowned art scouts from Europe and the United States selected fifty talents under 30 years, from the Bosch-cities of 's-Hertogenbosch, Berlin, Bruges, Brussels, Frankfurt, Ghent, Lisbon, London, Madrid, New Haven, New York, Paris, Rotterdam, Venice and Vienna.
Their work is a challenging exhibition curated with painting, sculpture, photography, drawings, collages, murals, installations, performances and video art.

In 2012, a special edition will be organized on 2 October to 18 November in AKV | St. Joost. The academy, which now forms part of AVANS University, is the oldest fine arts education in the Netherlands. This year the 200-year anniversary. BYTS close by to work there with the latest generation (ex-) students of this training presentation.
 
BYTS shows the most current developments in the field of contemporary art show. This is the line, which then was used by Hieronymus Bosch, a new impetus to our time-adjusted. Bosch in his time experimenting with composition, color and image. BYTS will offer a sampling of developments in the world of contemporary art.
 
Bosch Young Talent Show (BYTS) is een internationaal kunstevenement met veelbelovende beeldend kunstenaars onder de 30 jaar. Gerenommeerde kunstscouts uit Europa en de Verenigde Staten selecteerden zo'n vijftig talenten onder de 30 jaar, afkomstig uit de Bosch-steden ’s-Hertogenbosch, Berlijn, Brugge, Brussel, Frankfurt, Gent, Lissabon, London, Madrid, New Haven, New York, Parijs, Rotterdam, Venetië en Wenen.
Met hun werk is een uitdagende tentoonstelling samengesteld met schilderkunst, beeldhouwkunst, fotografie, tekeningen, collages, muurschilderingen, installaties, performances en video art.

In 2012 wordt een speciale editie georganiseerd van 2 oktober tot en met 18 november in AKV|St. Joost. De academie, die nu deel uit maakt van AVANS Hogeschool, is de oudste beeldende kunstopleiding van Nederland. Dit jaar wordt het 200-jarig bestaan gevierd. BYTS sluit daar bij aan door werk van de nieuwste generatie (oud-)studenten van deze opleiding te presenteren.
 
BYTS laat de meest actuele ontwikkelingen op het bied van de hedendaagse kunst zien. Daarmee wordt de lijn, die destijds door Jheronimus Bosch werd ingezet, een nieuwe, aan onze tijd aangepaste impuls gegeven. Bosch experimenteerde in zijn tijd met compositie, kleur en voorstelling. BYTS wil een staalkaart bieden van ontwikkelingen in de wereld van de actuele kunst.
